What is a planetary gearbox?
A planetary gearbox is ingeniously designed with both the input and output shafts perfectly aligned. This exceptional gearbox is crafted to transfer maximum torque within the most compact form possible, known as torque density, ensuring efficiency and performance.

Mathematically speaking, the smallest reduction ratio achievable is 3:1, while the largest is 10:1. At ratios below 3, the sun gear becomes disproportionately large compared to the planet gears. Conversely, at ratios exceeding 10, the sun wheel becomes too diminutive, causing a decline in torque. Typically, these ratios are absolute, represented by integer values.
